THunderbirds Puppet Making
“Thunderbirds are go!”
We created replica Scott Tracy, Lady Penelope, Parker and Brains puppets to look as close as possible to their ‘60s counterparts.
The process involved
building mechs for eyes, mouth, and body joints
sculpting, moulding and casting ears and facial features
painting, wigging and styling
making 1/3-scale accessories (glasses, sash, shoes, etc.)
Our Supermarionation puppet work is featured in Thunderbirds: The Anniversary Episodes, Filmed in Supermarionation, and the Thunderbirds Day specials produced with Century 21 Films; and in promotional material for Anderson Entertainment.
