Filmed in Supermarionation

Now streaming on Netflix in the UK and Europe, and on Tubi in Canada and the US!

Working with director Stephen La Rivière and producer Andrew T. Smith of Century 21 Films, Gazelle Automations’ Justin T. Lee art directed and led puppetry and post-production on this feature documentary about the British filmmakers behind Thunderbirds, Stingray, and Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons. Justin designed the film’s look to capture the exciting ‘Videcolor’ visuals synonymous with the 1960s high-tech worlds of those series.

Produced through Network Distributing and released in 2014 to critical acclaim, the film premiered at the British Film Institute before enjoying a UK-wide cinema release. It’s since been broadcast on Sky Arts and released on Blu-ray and DVD through Amazon, Official Gerry Anderson Store, and as part of Japan’s サンダーバード55/GOGO.
