Gazelle Automations’ Justin T. Lee served as production designer and led puppetry and post-production on this critically acclaimed feature documentary directed by Stephen La Rivière.

The film tells the story of the filmmakers behind Gerry & Sylvia Anderson’s classic Supermarionation series including Thunderbirds, Stingray and Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons, and Justin sought to capture the vibrant ‘Videcolor’ aesthetic of the 1960s through bold, energetic design and animation.

Produced through Network Distributing and released in 2014 to critical acclaim, the film premiered at the British Film Institute before enjoying a UK-wide cinema release. It’s since been broadcast on Sky Arts and released on Blu-ray and DVD available through Amazon, Official Gerry Anderson Store, and as part of Japan’s サンダーバード55/GOGO.
